Sasha Polonko is a junior at the George Washington University studying International Affairs and Journalism. Her journalism experience includes writing for her university’s newspaper, The GW Hatchet, and reporting for the Japanese television and broadcast news station TV Asahi. Although Sasha’s journey into journalism started fairly recently, writing has always been an integral part of her life.
