Martha Johnson

Martha moved to DC from Michigan in summer 2013 to be a research assistant for the Urban Institute, dedicated to better understanding policy impacts on vulnerable populations. Within her first month, a co-worker suggested she volunteer for Street Sense forums, so she did! As she continues to learn more about inequity, housing, and DC itself, she becomes more grateful to be connected with this community. In her free time, she especially loves exploring nature and the city through running.
