Katlyn is a rising junior, studying Communication and Spanish at Stanford University. She considers journalism the most powerful platform for marginalized voices to get the attention they deserve and looks forward to a long career of trying to make that justice a reality.
Katlyn is from Colorado, where the homelessness rate also remains above the national average. After writing for The Stanford Daily on issues relevant to low-income students and mental health, she looks forward to learning more from Street Sense about using communication to help others.
