Health Care Reporter
Kaela Roeder is a senior at American University, where she studies journalism with a minor in anthropology. She previously worked as an intern with the National Press Foundation, the Washington Blade and as a digital media associate with the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce. She is also the 2020 winner of the Blade Foundation scholarship, an award given to aspiring queer journalists. She aims to focus her reporting on LGBTQ, housing and international news in the future.
