Jeanine Santucci is a sophomore at Georgetown University from the little-known San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles. She is a justice and peace studies major and is pursuing minors in journalism and women’s and gender studies. Jeanine is a staff writer and the former copy chief at Georgetown’s newspaper of record, The Hoya, and a teacher’s aide through the tutoring program D.C. Reads. Her educational and extracurricular endeavors have inspired her focus as an aspiring advocacy journalist.
