Homelessly in Love

Under the belief that “we all need love,” Street Sense artists-in-residence Lalita Clozel and Ariane Mohseni began working on “Homelessly in Love” in early Spring 2015. The two Franco American fillmakers take a closer look at the common experience and complexities of romance, whether you live outside or inside.

Inspiration for the film came to Mohseni while volunteering in a homeless shelter in Paris. The documentary is expected to be released in August. Clozel and Mohseni hope their audience will continue contributing their love poems and stories long after the film is complete. Read more about Homelessly in Love in the Washington Post.

With the support of HumanitiesDC, Homelessly in Love is now in post-production. We hope to bring the film to the public in early 2023.
