Gwynette Smith is a vendor and artist for Street Sense Media. Along with selling papers, she has given poetry readings at Busboys and Poets and she is a member of the Speakers Bureau for the National Coalition for the Homeless. In 2015, Gwynette’s novel, “Gayle Tyler, JD” was published on Amazon Kindle. Gwynette is a fan of Viola Davis, “How To Get Away With Murder,” and the back-porch-soul singer Leela James. Her favorite pastimes include photography, writing, illustration classes, traveling, and simply having a good time. In the future, Gwynette hopes to go out West and live near her relatives; for now, she is happy to have housing and a stable environment, and is considering getting a dog.
