Desmond is a rising senior at Lafayette College where he majors in Anthropology and Sociology. Desmond is a recipient of the Posse Scholarship and has hopes of one day becoming a professor of Sociology at a top tier institution.
Desmond is a Washington D.C. native who is passionate about issues of social justice and civil rights, especially as they pertain to the D.C. area. Desmond is studying Journalism at American Univeristy this Spring and has chosen to take up an internship at Street Sense to gain a more comprehensive understanding of his hometown from a political and infrastructural perspective.
