Claudia Levens is a junior at the University of Missouri, studying Journalism, specifically investigative and documentary, and Constitutional Democracy. As contributor to the Columbia Missourian, the local NPR Affiliate KBIA, and the MU Journal on Constitutional Democracy, she strives to tell stories that elevate marginalized communities and explore solutions to systemic issues. Originally from Chicago, she recently built an emergency rental assistance database for people impacted by COVID in Illinois and is looking forward to applying her experiences and skills to expose injustices against the homeless community in D.C.
