President of the Board
Ashley McMaster is Vice President of Membership and Development for America’s Essential Hospitals, the leading association and champion for hospitals and health systems dedicated to high-quality care for all, including the vulnerable. She joined the Street Sense Media Board of Directors in March 2020.
Ashley has an extensive background in business development and partner relations, having previously served as Vice President of Business Development and Communications at MedTech Innovator and as Vice President of Membership and Business Development at the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed). She also has experience in communications and editorial through roles as the Director of Communications while at AdvaMed and Senior Editor, Health Care, at SmartBrief, a digital media company.
Ashley received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia. She also earned a Master of Arts in Public Affairs and Media, with a concentration in nonprofit management, from George Washington University. She and her family live in Washington, D.C.
