Ashleigh Fields is a well-established writer and two-time self-published author who is currently serving as the editor-in-chief for The Hilltop; the nation’s oldest and largest Black collegiate newspaper. Ashleigh is a White House Correspondent Scholar and a recipient of the Harry S. Alpin award in honor of the first Black reporter to cover the White House. She is an avid speaker, reader, and writer with an interest in education and public policy. After graduating, Ashleigh will begin working towards developing her own news outlet dedicated to minority news with a primary focus on the Black community.
