Rent & Utility Assistance
~They provide eligible DC residents with assistance for rent and utility bills. In cooperation with Washington gas, they help D.C. residents pay their home heating bills through the Washington Area Fuel Fund (WAFF). WAFF funds are available January 1 through May 30 ONLY.
~To get started, you must make an appointment via the phone: (202) 332-5000

Other Services
~They also assist clients with buying clothing, furniture (for those over 60), prescription medicines and transportation.
