The mission of the Anacostia Community Outreach Center is to “assist residents of the Anacostia and Langston Dwellings/Carver Terrace communities in Washington, DC by meeting their immediate needs of food, clothing, education and employment.”

Food

~They also have the Langston Community Garden Project, a public garden with fresh produce.

Education
~They have an External Diploma Program
~Their Adult Basic Education/GED Program provides individuals with the opportunity to get their GED. 

Employment Assistance/Training
~The Computer Lab and Technology Skills Training Center provides computer access and trains individuals for the workforce. 
~Their Certified Information Technology Job Training Program (coming fall 2019) provides employment training and assistance. 

Youth Services
~Their ACOC Summer Camp Program provides camp for local children and teens.
~The Vo-Camp-Ulary After School Program (coming fall 2019) provides after school day care assistance.
