Winter is Fast Approaching

Winter is approaching fast, as I am keenly aware from being homeless for six years. Winter is very hard for homeless people. Please offer a coffee or a nice ‘hello’ or ‘how you doing?’ It’s a very lonely time: dark, cold, wet, a bad combination of hazards. We all are a part of God’s body.

I heard Mayor Bowser say she’s going to let the shelters stay open for the winter. Thanks, Mayor.

PS. I am an advocate of Street Sense: I want to tell you something really good, because Street Sense helps me a lot!
