Who Am I?

Who am I? A man that was born in this country.

Who am I? A man who works and provides for his family.

Who am I? A man who will protect, fight and die for this country if necessary,

But if my country passes a law that goes against my Christian faith, then I beg to differ.

Who am I? A man of God.

The day that the Supreme Court passed legalized same sex marriage, Kim Davis refused to marry same sex couples on the grounds of her faith. I can understand where she’s coming from. I personally could not go against my Christian faith for a job. But she should have been given the opportunity to move into another role that would not put her in that position, rather than be arrested.

To quote Galatians 1:10, “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
