Well, a parent’s job is to raise you till you’re grown. Then they’re done. No more money, no more love. No more anything but disappointment. And it’s not even your fault.
They start to hate you for the world setting you up for failure. And you can’t tell them anything different because they’re stuck in their ways with health problems and other issues they face as an old person.
All you can do is pray, for yourself, and not for them or anyone else — ‘cause most people don’t even believe in a God anymore. So let them deal with that in hell.
