Trump’s insulting food stamp plan

I can only speak for myself, but I have a BIG problem with implementing a Blue Apron-type food delivery substitute for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or food stamps, as the Trump administration has proposed. Permit struggling folks the dignity and limited flexibility of planning and purchasing their own meal items. How dare they even consider this!

Frankly, I find it disturbing that Trump supports cutting poverty services to provide balance for tax cuts for the wealthy. That alone sets back many citizens that are struggling to remain healthy. Economic vulnerability is an injury, and someone who knows nothing of my tastes selecting my entrees is an insult.
