The Beautiful One

Hey y’all. I’m back. The beautiful one. Hope everything is OK on your end, because I’m OK, by the grace of God!

Anyway, I have met new customers and they are really nice, like you. I also met an elderly homeless man while at Dupont Circle. He became homeless because his rent outpaced his Society Security check. (He was a professor at one time in his life.)

He has no family to go to. While in Tenleytown, a nice lady who is also homeless bought papers from me. That gesture really moved me. I see a lot of homeless people that buy me food or my paper. People, in general, are nice and God fearing, which helps me a lot. Without the “higher power” I would have given up a long time ago. This is all for now. But stay tuned.

Remember: Smile and say hello.
