Stay safe this Christmas

There are a lot of mixed messages going around during this pandemic, especially during the holidays, when families get together by traveling by car or by plane. Airlines are operating throughout the United States and around the globe, but people are being asked to give up their travel plans.

The CDC and other government officials aren’t making any sense, and are confusing people as to whether they should travel like they traditionally would.

Sure, most people do understand that the way to avoid getting COVID-19 or infecting others is to wear a mask and practice social distancing. We all know that even if we don’t have any symptoms, we can still carry the virus in our bodies and still affect others.

But at the same time, you still have airlines, buses, restaurants, shopping centers, and skiing lodges open. The CDC and government officials need to lighten up a bit, because most people in the District-Maryland-Virgnia area are very aware of what we should do to protect ourselves and loved ones during this pandemic.

We all are already too stressed out to have a perfect holiday season. Government officials, please let people enjoy their holiday season without having to worry about the pandemic all the time. We all know what we need to do.

I hope all of my special friends and customers have safe, fun festivities, happy holidays and merry Christmas.
