Perception or Reality: Blood or Bond

Family is generally considered to be those related by blood, creating an unbreakable bond. It can also be a non-blood tie and still create an unbreakable bond. So to me, it’s the bond not the blood that actually creates family. It’s two or more with an understanding, respect and love for one another, built on trust. Unity or oneness is actually what ties people to together. The ability to look beyond the surface and one’s faults and still possess love enough not to judge but to want the best for each other and still care.
