Pay it forward

I wake up in the morning with different thoughts in my mind. At my age I do a lot of reminiscing about the past, whether it be good or bad. Life is full of lessons and blessings and it’s always best to be grateful for what you have been through.

The last three years have been a constant roller coaster. Most recently, my uncle died. A lot of doors are closing as new entrances are opening up. Nothing stays the same. Luckily, I was taught to re-adjust to people and situations when I was growing up. As a child, I went to several different schools because we always moved. That taught me early how things can change so quickly.

Stability is one of many successes I’m shooting for. Nothing comes easy and hard work always pays
off, especially when you have faith in yourself. I’m a hard worker with many goals and I refuse to become complacent with my situation. I thank Street Sense Media for their guidance. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide better jobs for Street Sense vendors and other hard-working men and women in the D.C. Area. Street Sense has helped me and my goal is to return the favor.
