Pagan Patrick?

I thought St. Patrick’s Day was about luck. Boy was I wrong. I thought that it was about the Irish as well, but from the information I read today I have a different ideal. The true notion of St. Patrick’s Day was religious? Who would have thought that a pagan could change a landscape in religion? If I celebrate St. Patrick’s Day I will pray for those who have died and those to come, under the same cause of unity do so under God’s enormous green thumb.
