My story, my thanks

PXHere

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who sent me cards and everything else for the holidays. Also, I had a nice time at my book talk on the Martin Luther King Jr. birthday event at Sidwell Friends School. There were a lot of people, and I had a real story to tell. I have been told I am a very good storyteller and that put a big smile on my face.

There was a guy sitting next to me and he said he remembered my face from somewhere. We started talking and he saw my book. It turned out that he remembered me from the D.C. Jail talk I gave. He then asked where the lady was who helped me to put the book together. I pointed out that she was sitting right next to me, and her name is Susan.

It was a good show and I’ll be going home next month.
