My home

Latishia Graham

I am stronger each day, and every day I’m thanking the Lord for my health and my strength. When I was at the shelter, yes, I felt I couldn’t make it. But thank you Lord for each and every day. I feel good. For once in my life, all the other places I had, this one is the best that I’ve been in that I can call my home.

After years of homelessness, Latishia got to host her children, friends and fellow Street Sense Media vendors for a housewarming party in her new apartment.

Some people don’t have a second chance to get the opportunity for their own place,” she said. “When I was at the shelter, I felt I couldn’t make it. But thank you Lord for each and every day.”

The day she moved in, she posted Marvin Sapp’s “Never Would’ve Made It” to her Facebook page: https://goo.gl/EDztwm
