My history

February is Black History Month. My forefathers fought in every American war, that’s a fact.

Sgt. William Havery Carney may have been a relative of mine. He was a Union soldier who was born a slave. And he was the first African American to receive the Medal of Honor.

I’m proud to be an African-American man. Spread love.
