LAST WORD: Missing You, Roberta

Members of the Staging Hope theater group sing at the memorial service held on January 7

Ken Martin

I am devastated by the loss of such a nice person: Roberta Bear.

I liked you Roberta. I found you to be very low-keyed in your mannerism, a carbon-copy of myself. You always appeared to be peaceful and worry-free. You shared so much of your life to me and I was always touched to be your friend.

You often wrote about your sufferings. You were too nice and developed some troublesome relationships as a result. I am having difficulty expressing how I thought of you. The memories are powerful, yet weak in many ways.

In the midst of words of comfort and prayer, I am extending my heartfelt sympathy to your family members. Roberta, you will be missed and remembered for a very long time.

Rest in peace.
