Ken’s Take on The Pay it Forward Project

I know I’ve written many times about the Pay It Forward Project, which works around the world and here in the U.S. On the weekend of March 13, I had fun working at a book fair. That Sunday, I worked with Wendy Farrell, one of the founders of the PIFP.

The two of us and another volunteer passed out pillows to homeless individuals around Union Station. Then we went to the shelter at 2nd and D Street to pass out more items to homeless people.

The PIFP still needs help with what they do. Right now they have a fundraiser selling bracelets for $2 each.

You can order them by calling Wendy Farrell at 703- 627-6377 or Denise Bobba at 703-405-5795. You can send a check or money order, with a letter stating how many you want, to Pay It Forward, P.O. Box 903, Ashburn, VA 20146. They would love to have your help.
