More shutdowns

Now that we have more and more Metro shutdowns as part of the SafeTrack repair strategy, we have to buy Tylenol, Aleve and Motrin to deal with the headaches related to them.

It’s a good thing that I work at Eastern Market. The Metro work there won’t start until August. But until the repairs start here, trains are slowing down due to cracks on the rails, arcing insulators, and who-knows-what.

More people are riding bikes, driving and even walking to work. Who would think it would be this much trouble getting to work?

I sure hope the new general manager knows what he’s doing. I’m feeling safer already! Don’t you?
