Last month, New York City hosted its Pride Parade to honor Pride Month and LGBTQ rights. This year’s parade theme was “Defiantly Different.” David Studinski, NYC Pride co-chair said that the “parade showcases a wide selection of defiantly different community members from performance artists to mental health advocates. We are standing defiantly — defiantly different and defiantly as one.”
NYC stood! Came! Participated! Rocked with jubilation! Joy! Joy! Applause rose, as the city led the way in her joyous parade.
The city met the needs of her citizens to the best of her abilities, meeting the food, housing and medical needs of her residents in need.
