Blue jays and cardinals flock together, whether you know it or not. I’ve even seen them protect each other’s nests. Now that’s what I call motherly love!
Their sounds and colors are beautiful together. When I catch them landing on a tree side-by-side, it amazes me that they can be so congruent and fluid in their movements. When they fly through the sky together, I sometimes think, “Why can’t we be like them?”
We could be like a butterfly, floating along with the blue jay and cardinal. Why can’t we fly together?
That’s love. Happy Mother’s Day!
