Gone, but Not Forgotten

My sister died last month in her sleep. The first thing I thought about was her legacy. Was it intact? She was a great mother, grandmother, and sister.

Grief is a sad thing to go through. But you can’t go around it, or over it, or under it, so you have to confront it. The pain from losing Vera is heavy and relentless.

As the head usher, Vera was a pillar at her church. She was raising my great niece and my nephew.

Is my legacy intact? No. I have a lot of work to do before I leave the planet.

Everyone has an appointed time on Earth. Then the Death Angels come to get your soul.

I want to thank everyone for their support in my grief. May God bless Vera. I know she’s in heaven.
