Follow your dream. No matter what, don’t give up.
What I mean is: I am in school and I am going for my GED at 56 years old. I have learning disabilities related to bipolar disorder. But I don’t let that dictate how I live.
I have been sober and drug-free for 10 years. I came in at 17 years old. If it was not for God and the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ’s name, I would be gone.
Working for Street Sense is another dream. I like it because I can work my own hours and do not have a boss hanging over me, attending meetings several times a week or more.
