We have received reports of one of our vendors being sprayed in the face with mace while sleeping in the early hours of the morning near the corner of 14th and U Streets NW. This would have occurred on May 23rd. The vendor awoke with blurred vision, burning eyes and trouble hearing. A neighbor in the area told him days later that she had seen him attacked with mace and captured the incident on film, but we do not have the contact information for this concerned citizen.
