You Call it Flag Day

My anniversary. Thirty five years without chemical intoxicants as of June 14. You call it Flag Day. I call it Independence Day. I’ve been free from drinking for 35 years, longer than many of my readers have lived. How would you celebrate? Thirty-six years ago I would have wanted a bottle of Crown Royal. Today I’d settle for a set of keys!
