Going to church every Sunday and being able to quote all of the verses in the Bible does not mean you are living right. This is my prayer:
Heavenly Father, your word tells us that when we ask anything according to your will, you will hear us and grant us the things we requested of you. Your word also tells us that all things will work together for our good.
Lord, remind us of these things as we go through this day. Remind us that when obstacles surface, when we look to you and allow the Holy Spirit to work through us, we will be successful in overcoming them. Teach us to practice patience and endure until the very end.
Lord, we thank you in advance as we claim our peace and our victory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
