A prayer for police reform

Do you know “Change is Coming,” that old song by Sam Cooke? It was the soundtrack to the Malcolm X movie. Seeing all the people that turned out to protest George Floyd’s murder made me feel the same way listening to that song does.

Holding the police accountable on the oath they took is critical. My prayer is to see in my lifetime a world that’s better than it was when I came into it.

Moving forward, we should surround ourselves with positive people and organizations that have a mission to make the world a better place. I feed the birds daily and I’m a dog lover. So that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

The luckiest people in the world are the people who need people. Thank God for your support.
