A Post-Election Prayer

Well, I guess Donald Trump will be our next President. I voted for Hillary Clinton.

Either way, I did not expect this nightmare to happen. It is what it is, people. Let’s learn to humble ourselves as we must prepare to get him out in four years. I know I’m going to vote again in the next election.

If he does something that is against the United States Constitution, we must hold him accountable for his actions. But at this point, humility must play an important part.

There is a Bible scripture I read in 1 Peter 2:13-15: “Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.”

As for the protesters, I know that some didn’t like the outcome of this election. The best thing I can say right now is pray to God that He will send the next right person that is suitable to be the next president of the United States.
