My name is Latishia Graham, a Black American woman. I have lived in D.C. all my life. I am the mother of three: Tiffany, Darrell Jr. and Joy. They are grown up now, and I love them.

My mother is Diane Jones, my Dad is Miko Ricardo Jones, and I have two brothers and one step sister.

I have been a Street Sense vendor for about three years. When I was homeless, I couch surfed with good family and friends. I thank God for the people at Street Sense. It is thanks to them and many others, including Adam’s shelter and the House of Ruth, that I now have my own place, since Christmas. I am so happy there. I have so much to be thankful for.
