A father’s cry

Ron Dudley and his son

Ron Dudley

My baby momma gettin high again
Tellin the same old lie again
Selling the food stamps to get her drugs,
But all the kids need is food, and love.
Before I go to work everyday I pray.
That my son don’t get taken away.

My baby momma gettin high again
Can’t let my son go through the same old lies again.
She stole the money out your piggy bank.
She drunk the milk you was suppose to drank
She took you out of school
To leave you home in your crib crying all alone

I hear you crying, I hear you crying.
I feel like dyin, I feel like dyin.
I feel like killing, I feel like killing.
I love you son, I love you son.
I feel like living.

Father protect my son from his momma cause she’s evil.
Son just know that I will never leave you
I’m gonna raise my boy to be a man
Put family first, help save the world
When you can. God give me the wisdom
To be the best father.

Life ain’t easy
But I’mma still try harder
I’mma pray for a house with a key that we can go in.
Cause we need space and a place that we can grow in.
Every time I pray God answers me later
I need a miracle I need a prayer.
