A dedication to all cancer survivors

Six years ago, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. From that point on, I have been going with her to some of her doctor’s appointments. Listening and learning how this terrible disease works. I always pray for people in this world, especially her and my daughter.

My mother had one of her breasts removed and she’s my champion. She is 84 years old. I watched how strong she was and I tell her every day I love her.

She loves to tell the story about when I was born. She was willing to give her life for me to live. It was 1968 and she tells me that she had to sign papers to let her go so I could live (unbelievable). God bless her sweetheart (and she never smoked a cigarette in her life!

Please, my friends, this story is not meant for you to feel sorry for me at all. I love selling the paper and meeting so many customers in my community. You are my family and strengthen me always.
