They Were Crying

They thought there was no way out. The sun was shining, but in their hearts were only gloom and doubt. The world as it seemed was an eternal refutation of their lives’ circumstances. Their romances had seemingly dissipated.

But wait!

In an instant the rain came and the melancholy mood reminded of the ups and downs of life. They hugged each other in acceptance of the sunshine and the rain, then let go of the rain.
