Talk About It

When I sell papers I talk to many people. Some of them talk about their kids, but most talk more about their jobs. One of my customers on 11th Street hates his job. He says he doesn’t like his boss, and his boss doesn’t like him. I told him the best way to deal with his boss is to try to get along with him. A few days after, he said things were going good.

No matter what situation you’re in, just talking about it can make you feel better. All you need is the right person to talk to. Most people keep things bottled up inside, but all they need is a good listener and some positive feedback: most times everything will be okay. So, if anyone needs to talk about some things, find someone who will listen. Remember; talk about it. You’ll feel so much better.
