Read Between the Lines

As I read between the lines, like
I write my words that some times
rhyme. For only if you knew me
surely you would like me, a line
In time. Is it right to give
thought to this line? Surely it is
Not mine but it brings to mind
people’s frame of mind, or is this
all in my mind that I need to
be like night and day. They say
and they say can you see, understand
me, know overstand me cause maybe
if you knew me truly knew me
you would know I long to be like
you who knows.
