Prison Phone Justice

postcard to FCC

Media Action Grassroots Network

About 3 million of our children are taken financial hits from their parents caged in prisons in America. When your family members and our loved ones are in prisons, we need desperately to hear their voice on the phone to show we care and love each other. We need phone calls for support to give our families. We must be able to phone our loved ones at affordable rates. We must keep in touch while we are caged. Our caging of each other in America is breaking up our families. Phone call rates locally are outrageously high. The FCC (Federal Commission on Communications) needs to hear from the public that we must lower the local phone call rates as rapidly as possible. We have capped long distance rates after a long hard fight. The next month July 2015, go to www.phonejustice.org and check out our resources. Send a letter to your newspaper editor. speak up!

Visit your elected local official in August when they are in your hometown. Speak up! Amplify our message that we need local phone calls lowered to minimum fees, i.e. 10 cents a minute or less. Research and be prepared to present facts

September 17, 2015 the FCC votes on our petition that we will deliver to amplify our voices that we must hear our family voices who are caged in local cities of America and economical affordable rates! Our family are hit hard financially. By mass caging. Raise your voice. Help us Hear our Encaged family and loved one’s voices.
