My Favorite Customer

I would meet her between 7:00 and 8:00 am. She tipped me regularly. On one visit, I had admired her lipstick and blush. With that, she said ‘that she would bring a few shades of lipstick for me. This happened a couple of days before I was to move into the place I now share with someone else. When I told her I would be moving in a couple of days, she said it called for a celebration. Then she took me to Au Bon Pain and bought me coffee and a sandwich and gave me some money. I’ve been at Woodley Towers for three months and wish I could run into her again.
