If You See Something, Say Something:
Positive safety improvements

Next month, Metro will be bringing in 520 new rail cars and placing more Transit Police officers on rail cars and around platforms.

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s good to see some positive change on Metro.

I’ve also noticed more police presence around Metro parking lots and more light in many dark areas.

Going to and from work feels better.

Like many people, I want to feel safe on Metrorail and Metrobus. There is still more to be done, but slowly and surely, Metro is starting to earn our trust.
