How is America Moving?

Is America moving forward or backward when it comes to race relationships? What about morality? What about citizenship?

In the forties and fifties, there was a lot of tension between the races and lots of injustices. People struggled to get past that. Many lives were lost. Recently, there has been the same sort of tension popping up. People don’t trust the police to do the right thing. Young people on the riot. Killing in church. Donald Trump saying the boarder needs to be sealed so the Mexicans can’t come to do bad things. It seems people are pointing fingers and name calling. Even some of the church people are finding it hard to forgive.

You can’t say grace out loud in school. Same sex marriage is the new law. In some places in the world, people are put to death for same sex practices. If you say you think that it’s not right the finger pointing and name calling starts.

America is definitely changing but is it forward or back to conflicts and shame.

I pray that we find a solution to come together as Americans, all the people.

With good moral to pass on to our future, and loving one another.
